Reports, On The Horizon
The USS Horizon is a service based chapter. The following is a list of the charities that the chapter supports. Our members are dedicated in their support of a better world.
OVERSEAS COUPON PROGRAM supports military families overseas by sending “manufacturer’s coupons.” They must be cut out, sorted by food and non-food, and totaled. OCP Website
STAMPEDE supports charities by collecting canceled stamps in bulk and selling them for cash. The stamps must be in perfect condition (no damage) and must be canceled. They should be trimmed about ¼ inch from the stamp.
CASH DONATIONS
RECYCLING by the pound and of aluminum cans for cash to be deposited in the Horizon account.
SERVICE HOURS for all projects both community service and ecology. These projects are not stand alone projects but are service work that the chapter does internally. Most of these are self explanatory. If you have questions then contact a member of the chapter staff.
DONATION OF ITEMS to charities like the Salvation Army or the Goodwill. This is the cash equivalent.
CAMPBELL'S SOUP LABELS turned in to support local schools through the chapter.
BOX TOPS for Education are collected for several schools both in Columbia & St. Louis.
SODA CAN TABS are collected for the Ronald McDonald House.
