HORIZON AWARDS & RANK

The  USS Horizon's ongoing awards program is well established.  The links to the left will take you to explanations of the program and its administration.

The chapter has joined the 21st century.  Award Boards are digital and require very little manual preparation.  The chapter uses digital representations or digital replacements for Regional or Fleet wide awards in any organizations it has membership in.

Awards are tabulated once a year usually at the end of the calendar year for all active members.  We no longer issue paper certificates for any awards or promotions.  Promotions are announced at a chapter meeting and published in the chapter newsletter.

Both awards and promotions are earned and are not automatic.
